 On Wed May 16 I turned 27!! wow! 

Time flies when you are having fun! 

I enjoyed a fun day by the pool with some girl friends and then went

to dinner with the boys! By the pool we enjoyed chocolate covered

strawberries, hummus, what thins and ice cold drinks! 

I just love lounging by the pool!!

I just love it!!

 On Sunday May 20th we had a family and friends celebration at my parent's pool!

Preston joined in on the fun too!

It was a wonderful birthday with family and friends!

 Lake Trip 2012 in Louisiana!! 

We went on a nice 3 day weekend with my mom's 

family to the lake in Louisiana! My Memaw and Papaw 

Hogan where there along with Aunt Penny, Uncle Bruce, and 

Uncle Paul! My Papaw's brothers were there along with 

their wives too! We had such a fun time!

 Aunt Penny decided to fish off the dock and caught

some fish! She would get so excited about

the fish biting she would jump up and down!

 Ross and I decided to work on our tan on the dock! 

It was just lovely being on the water!

We would have a big family dinner with all of Papaw's

brothers and tell our fish stories from that day!

He drove a fast fishing boat!

 Ross caught a few fish and enjoyed being on the water with Papaw and I! 

He learned a few tricks from Papaw too! I helped him put

crickets on to bait the "big" fish!! haha!

 After church we all headed over to Cotton Patch for a nice family lunch!

 It was so much fun having both of our families there!

Nora invited everyone over to her house where

she had amazing desserts made and coffee ready for the men!

We really enjoyed Mother's day with

our families and cherish the time that 

we get to spend with them!

Last night was Ladies Night at Luke's Locker in Plano!! We had a great time! All the running ladies in one place having a blast! There was a fashion show, discounts, good food and wine!
They asked me to be a part of the fashion show so I was
modeling all Nike attire!
They put me in some pretty funky nike tempo shorts but the bright
colors and fun prints are super fun for races!!

Happy St.Patrick's Day!! We enjoyed a fun evening on the patio at Watters Creek with Meg and Jon after I got off work! It was a busy day at work so I was really excited to get to enjoy a nice evening outside to unwind! We took a few fun pics with my phone so my
photos aren't the best! It was interesting to people watch too and see all
the crazy outfits people wore for the green holiday! At Watters
Creek they even dyed the creek in the middle green!
Hope everyone had a fun St.Patrick's Day!!

On Friday I had a lazy girls night with some friends from our
new sunday school class!

We had sonic drinks and candy while sitting out by the pool
enjoying the nice night!
We are really excited about the spring and summer weather with
pool days in our future!! Next weekend I am running the
Rock and Roll Half in Dallas! I am so excited and thrilled to
be running the race again! Last year I did 1:55 and I am
hoping to do the same this year!

On Sunday we had Ross' 28th Birthday party at my parent's house in McKinney!! We had the LaPrade family, the Creel family and
the Lowry's all under one roof!! What a fun time!

Ross was super excited about celebrating his 28th birthday with everyone
and finally getting his precious Playstation Vita since he waited since
March 1 to actually get the new gaming system!!

We had burgers and red velvet cupcakes which I will have
to say were pretty tasty!!

We had a wonderful time celebrating Ross' birthday with
everyone and always enjoy good quality family time!!

Last Sunday I woke up at the crazy hour of 4:15 am!! Why..well to meet up with my running buddies to head off to Oklahoma for a fun trail run! The trail run was in Atoka,OK the middle of no where! The trail run was a 25k or a 50k. We did the 25k which is 15.5 miles of trails!!
We had a great time enjoying the gorgeous day and being outside in the middle
of the woods instead of the middle of the road for once! ;)

I thought this view was really pretty! It was probably about half way through the trails!

We got jam and a part of a tree as our finisher award!

We celebrated our finish for a little bit and then hit the road back home for a
shower to clean off the trail dust!!
Once we got back to McKinney-Allen area we cleaned off and
headed to Watters Creek for Grimaldis pizza outside
on the patio to enjoy the rest of the gorgeous day!!

It was such a fun adventure to run trails with everyone I will for sure do it again next year!!
